As our first event with Musik Matters, we were so glad to have such a turnout with 30+ attendees and passionate players. Performances included singing duets, acoustic guitar, piano, and cello. The performers described music as "their happy place" and it was evident in the passion behind their performances.
The event was an hour long, spanning from 1:00-2:00 p.m. This was Musik Matters' first experience with Ashwood Meadows Gracious Retirement Living, but it was an extremely positive and soothing experience for both the players and the audience. It was very clear that everyone in attendance was extremely passionate about the art of music, which was what made the experience even more enjoyable.
Spreading music is what Musik Matters was created for, and this very goal was achieved with this event.
